Understand BillPad plans and pricing

See the published Free, Pro and Business plans and the current no-paywall rollout.

Paid plans are coming soon — there's no paywall today and nobody is charged. The following describes the plans published on the BillPad website, not a checkout process you need to complete now.

The website describes Free as free forever, with five invoices a month, three templates, your logo and colours, all currencies and taxes, and a small Made with BillPad footer.

Pro is described as unlimited invoices, all templates, no BillPad footer, saved clients and items, and reminders marked coming soon. The yearly price is shown as the equivalent of US$4.17 or A$6.25 per month when billed yearly.

Business is marked coming soon. Its published inclusions are cloud sync on every device, team members and everything in Pro. Team members are not available in the app yet.

AUD prices on the website include GST.

Published offers

The site advertises a launch offer for the first 1,000 customers: Pro at US$34.99 or A$54.99 for the first year. It also advertises 90 days of Pro for switching from another app, with no card needed. The switch offer is once per account.

Good to know

  1. Read the current pricing section for the published plan comparison.
  2. Continue using BillPad during the current no-paywall rollout.
  3. Contact support if the app unexpectedly asks for a payment or blocks access.

The 100-document beta workspace limit is a separate implementation limit, not the published monthly Free allowance. Archiving retains documents and does not free a slot. Account sync and reminders are rolling out independently of the future plan comparison, so available controls can differ between the web and native apps. You can keep using your current workspace while paid plans are being prepared.
