Before you get started.

Is BillPad really free?

Yes. All current features are free while BillPad is in beta. There’s no card to add. Pro features are planned for later and aren’t available yet.

Do I need an account?

No. Open BillPad and start creating. Your invoices, clients and settings are saved in the browser you use.

Where is my data stored?

Your records stay on your device in this browser. They aren’t synced to a server. Export backups regularly: clearing browser data or losing your device can remove your records. A different browser won’t have them automatically.

Can I add Australian GST?

Yes. BillPad supports Australian GST and multiple currencies. Add your business and tax details, then check they’re right for your invoice before sending.

Can I work offline?

Once the app is loaded, you can keep working without a connection. Open it while online first; a fresh visit or reload may need a connection. Download PDFs and export backups to keep your own copies.
