By using BillPad, you agree to these terms.
Using the service
BillPad helps you create invoices and quotes, manage clients and items, and export your work. You can use it without an account, with data saved on your device. Export backups regularly.
BillPad is not directed at under-16s. You must have authority to act for any business whose information you use.
Optional accounts
Sign in with Google, Apple or an emailed link to sync across devices. Keep your sign-in email and provider account secure. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account. Contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.
You can delete your account in Settings → Account → Delete account. See deletion instructions and our Privacy Policy.
Your content
You own your content. You grant us a licence to store, process and transmit it only to run the service for you, including sync, sharing and email features you choose. You must have the rights and permissions needed to use that content.
Acceptable use
Do not use BillPad for unlawful activity, fraud, spam or infringement of others’ rights. Do not upload malicious code, try to access another person’s data, bypass security or disrupt the service.
Plans and billing
The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are not on sale yet — nobody is charged today.
- Pro: US$5.99/month or US$49.99/year; AUD A$8.99/month or A$74.99/year, including GST.
- Business: US$11.99/month or US$99.99/year; AUD A$17.99/month or A$149.99/year, including GST.
When paid plans launch, billing will be through the App Store, Google Play, or our web checkout provider, Paddle. The checkout shows your currency, price and billing period before purchase.
Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Cancel any time through the provider you purchased from; access continues to the end of the paid period and there is no charge after that. Prices may change with notice before renewal. See our Refunds Policy.
Invoices, taxes and legal requirements
You are responsible for the accuracy of your invoices and quotes, your taxes, and meeting legal requirements in your country. Check your details, calculations and payment status before relying on them. BillPad is not tax or legal advice.
Third-party services
Stripe handles payments through your own Stripe account. Google and Apple provide optional sign-in. Their services and terms apply when you use them. BillPad does not control their availability or decisions.
Availability and consumer rights
We provide BillPad “as is” and work to keep it available, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Keep your own backups.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies guarantees or rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, including remedies for a major failure.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the previous 12 months. This cap does not limit rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
Termination
You may stop using BillPad or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a serious breach of these terms or where legally required. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to export your data. Account deletion follows the retention rules in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you. We post updates here and notify signed-in users of material changes by email.
