Needs a signed-in account. Apple Watch provides a compact view of invoice activity from your BillPad account. Sign in on the paired iPhone first so the Watch can receive its account connection. It is a companion view, not the full invoice editor.
Connect and browse
- Open BillPad on iPhone and sign in.
- Open BillPad on the paired Watch and allow the account information to arrive.
- Review the summary, unpaid invoices, overdue invoices and payments.
- Open an invoice to see its number, client, remaining amount and due information.
- Pull to refresh the invoice list when you need current data.
Invoice rows can show viewed information when the account has hosted-page activity. A cached snapshot can remain visible when the Watch is offline, so refresh before relying on a recently changed amount.
Record a payment
Open an unpaid invoice and choose Mark as paid. The confirmation explains the remaining amount that will be recorded as received today. Confirm Mark as paid only when that full amount has actually arrived. Review or edit payment details on iPhone if a different date or partial amount is needed.
This action records money; it does not collect it from the client's card or bank account. Wait for the result before repeating the action.
Send a reminder
An invoice detail offers Send reminder. A successful request changes the feedback to Reminder sent. Sending needs a connection and an eligible invoice with the necessary email/share history. If the operation fails, check the document and account on iPhone rather than assuming a message was delivered.
Good to know
If the Watch says Sign in on iPhone, open the phone app yourself. Continue on iPhone is a hint on that screen, not a button that remotely opens the iPhone app.
Viewed and paid alerts can be requested after account connection. Notification permission and connectivity affect whether they appear. Use the main app to create invoices, edit line items, manage detailed payments and investigate differences between a cached Watch view and the current workspace.
